At the moment due to Corona only possible on order. Great beer garden and delicious German cuisine. The Schäufele are very good and a blast at a price of 10.50 €. Carp and everything on Sunday roasts.

Nothing special visually. But good food and friendly staff. Well priced too.

An excellent treat in this part of Germany! We stayed at a nearby hotel and after researching the area found this traditional Frankonian restaurant which turned out to be quite the unexpected surprise in terms of food. On Saturdays the off menu includes Balkan style meat skewers which were just delicious but one must ask about it, like I said, it's not on the menu. The fish with boiled potatoes was also good as well as the schnitzel selection. I know many would ask why Balkan skewers at a traditional Frankonian place? the answer is quite simple, it's the proprietors. Warm and welcoming people, quick to accommodate you and serve you, make you feel at home whether you are for local food or something to experiment with. We also happened to be there during the Franconian carnival ( Fasching), so some locals were all dressed up and dancing on German Schlager songs played by DJ and eating the aforementioned Balkan style skewers with local Kellerbeir... I call this 21st century Europe. Loved it!

Got dirty beer in the mug. Little excitement with complaints. Don't get a booze or anything for the disgust. Plastic furniture ambience in the garden. Veggi don't eat anything special. Schnitzel should be good though.

eat okay, if not really outstanding. Carp parade could have been crispier. Food for our group of around 15 people definitely took too long. Friendly service, pleasant rooms. -> midfield

Staff very friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary area was neglected when we visited (dirty floor, spider webs, etc.). Unfortunately, this is not possible at the present time. One wonders how hygiene is in the kitchen. Basically the food was good, although very pepper-heavy. But that was also due to our taste. The atmosphere is also not the most beautiful, as you could have used the lockdown time to change this.

The food is delicious and the service is very nice. Definitely recommendable.

The restaurant is comfortably bright and clean. The service friendly and helpful. Price-performance ratio is okey. We were there for lunch around 3pm and had the room to ourselves. Food was plentiful and we all enjoyed it. What we lacked was a bit eye-catching on the plates. A schnitzel and potato salad or chips and good. Some parsley or something would have been nice. Also the schnitzel was not juicy, as you know it from the pan, or was it just dabbed too dry !?

Very tasty food at good prices in a cozy atmosphere. We were there as a family (with toddler) and felt very comfortable. Attentive and very nice service (owner). Our son's fish fingers were homemade. Really delicious! The Stadtwaldschänke is highly recommended!

Great family restaurant. The servers are kind, food very good and well priced. Simple seating but good for large families or large groups.
